WDST signed on April 29, 1980. Based in Woodstock, the most famous small town in the world, we have built an audience in Ulster, Dutchess, Greene, and Columbia Counties.

We are independently owned and operated. We are not programmed from a far off city to resemble stations in other cities for the sake of ratings continuity. We are programmed for the educated 25-54 year old population of The Hudson Valley.

We are proud of our Woodstock heritage. This means that we play a mix of old and new which is truly unique. Woodstock happens to be our hometown ..but we reach nearly the entire Hudson valley region with 100 miles of the New York State Thruway.. as well as 100 miles of the Taconic State Parkway…on the air ..and online .
